COMMUNICATION IN PRE-SIEF AND SIEF
On 22 January 2009, a questionnaire was sent to the whole
pre-SIEF to indicate the SIEF Status. At the same occasion, the
formation of a consortium led by Akzo Nobel Industrial Chemicals BV
was communicated.
Please notice that the SIEF status can be changed in any moment
by contacting the Secretariat of the consortium.
On 20 May 2009, a second communication was sent to the whole
pre-SIEF (including Dormant companies) to agree on the Substance
Profile and on the choice of the Lead Registrant. The Substance
Profile was accepted and Akzo Nobel was nominated Lead Registrant.
The SIEF for Hydrogen Chloride has been officially formed.
With both communications, it was also asked to members of the
SIEF to contact the Secretariat in case they have animal vertebrate
studies on HCl to share.
