August 2016 Chlorine Production

In August, the European chlorine production stood at 828,694 tonnes. With 26,732 tonnes, the August average daily production was nearly equal to the one of the previous month (July 2016: 26,731 tonnes), but 1% higher than in August 2015 (26,457 tonnes).

With 225,564 tonnes, the August caustic soda stocks were 10.9% higher than in the previous month (July 2016: 203,477 tonnes), but 19,652 tonnes below the level of August 2015 (245,216 tonnes).
