Consumer uses of carbon tetrachloride are prohibited EU wide (carbon tetrachloride as substance or in mixtures with > 0.1 % CTC shall not be placed on the market for sale to the general public according to regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), TITLE VIII with Annex XVII, entry 33.
