One of Euro Chlor's principal goals is to provide technically-sound data and information based on the practical experience of its members. Through such information sharing, Euro Chlor seeks to enhance the European chlorine industry's credibility and prospects for long-term sustainability in the fields of safety, health and environmental protection (SHE). Euro Chlor works with experts from its member companies as well as independent consultants to develop and maintain up-to-date technical information addressing these three issues.

Euro Chlor is continually working to help its members improve their SHE performance.

The SHE section is divided into two parts:

  • Recommendation, guidelines and best practice
  • Position papers to inform stakeholders of Euro Chlor's views on SHE issues faced by the chlor-alkali industry
