Bondalti has signed a cooperation agreement with the Australian company Reed Advance Materials to build a lithium refinery in Estarreja .The project, which is part of the Mobilising Agendas of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, provides for a shared investment for the construction and operation of a lithium refinery at Bondalti's chlor-alkali production unit in Estarreja. ... and integrates project to produce renewable hydrogen
Bondalti is part of the consortium of 13 companies and research partners that will develop the GreenH2Atlantic project, to produce renewable hydrogen in Sines. The 30-million-euro fund will help finance the construction of the hydrogen unit, which is due to start in 2023 and whose operation is expected to start in 2025. In addition to Bondalti, the new green hydrogen production project in Sines includes companies such as EDP, Galp, ENGIE, Martifer, Vestas Wind Systems A/S, McPhy and Efacec, and academic and research partners such as ISQ, INESC-TEC, DLR, CEA and Axelera.
