Euro Chlor publishes document on consequences of time correlations

08/06/2022

The renewable hydrogen dossier, and more specifically the topic of Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origins (RFNBOs), has been the subject of intense debate within various European institutions over the past few months. Euro Chlor has analysed the various criteria for this and passed this analysis on via Cefic to various policymakers, including a document entitled "The consequences of time correlations for PPA on the renewable/ RFNBO status of hydrogen produced in chlor-alkali". Members have been contacted to contribute to the next renewable hydrogen public consultation which has a deadline of 17 June.
