JULY 2024 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In July, the European chlorine production reached 697,875 tonnes. With 22,512 tonnes, the July 2024 average daily production was 1.4% higher than in the previous month (June 2024: 22,205 tonnes) and 6.0% higher than in July 2023 (21,230 tonnes).
With 234,089 tonnes, the July 2024 caustic soda stocks were 9.6% higher than in the previous month (June 2024: 213,615 tonnes) and 1,777 tonnes above the level of July 2023 (232,312 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in July 2024.
