October 2020 chlorine and caustic production

The October 2020 European chlorine production reached 768,633 tonnes. With 24,795 tonnes, the October 2020 average daily production was 1.9% higher than in the previous month (September 2020: 24,328 tonnes) and 2.2% higher than in October 2020 (24,252 tonnes).

With 215,062 tonnes, the October 2020 caustic soda stocks were 5.2% lower than in the previous month (September 2020: 226,865 tonnes), but 5,124 tonnes above the level of October 2019 (209,938 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland and the UK in October 2020.
