SEPTEMBER 2025 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
The September 2025 European chlorine production reached 623,038 tonnes. With 20,768 tonnes, the September 2025 average daily production was 6.8% lower than in the previous month (August 2025: 22,277 tonnes) but 2.7% higher than in September 2024 (20,228 tonnes).
With 260,303 tonnes, the September 2025 caustic soda stocks were 7.0% lower than in the previous month (August 2025: 279,949 tonnes) but 34,694 tonnes above the level of September 2024 (225,609 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK from January to September 2025.
