April 2021 Chlorine Production

In April, the European chlorine production reached 770,661 tonnes. With 25,689 tonnes, the April 2021 average daily production was 1.1% lower than in the previous month (March 2021: 25,983 tonnes), but 9.8% higher than in April 2020 (23,401 tonnes).

With 206,423 tonnes, the April 2021 caustic soda stocks were 0.02% higher than in the previous month (March 2021: 206,381 tonnes), and 30,180 tonnes above the level of April 2020 (176,243 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in April 2021.
