April 2022 Chlorine Production
In April, the European chlorine production reached 708,007 tonnes. With 23,600 tonnes, the April 2022 average daily production was 0.8% lower than in the previous month (March 2022: 23,793 tonnes), and 8.0% lower than in April 2021 (25,665 tonnes).
With 194,422 tonnes, the April 2022 caustic soda stocks were 9.4% lower than in the previous month (March 2022: 212,456 tonnes), and 15,075 tonnes below the level of April 2021 (207,497 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in April 2022.
