JANUARY 2025 CHLORINE PRODUCTION

The January 2025 European chlorine production reached 724,438 tonnes. With 23,369 tonnes, the January 2025 average daily production was 9.2% higher than in the previous month (December 2024: 21,403 tonnes) and 4.1% higher than in January 2024 (22,447 tonnes).

With 244,402 tonnes, the January 2025 caustic soda stocks were 8.0% lower than in the previous month (December 2024: 226,199 tonnes) and 16,488 tonnes above the level of January 2024 (227,914 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in January 2025.
