JULY 2022 CHLORINE PRODUCTION

In July, the European chlorine production stood at 689,241 tonnes. With 22,234 tonnes, the July 2022 average daily production was 2.3% lower than in the previous month (June 2022: 22,759 tonnes), and 19.2% lower than in July 2021 (27,523 tonnes).

With 205,342 tonnes, the July 2022 caustic soda stocks were 6.4% higher than in the previous month (June 2022: 193,054 tonnes), and 10,638 tonnes above the level of July 2021 (194,704 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in July 2022.
