June 2021 Chlorine Production
In June, the European chlorine production stood at 793,990 tonnes. With 26,466 tonnes, the June 2021 average daily production was 2.4% higher than in the previous month (May 2021: 25,838 tonnes), and 13.6% higher than in June 2020 (23,306 tonnes).
With 171,865 tonnes, the June 2021 caustic soda stocks were 10.2% lower than in the previous month (May 2021: 191,318 tonnes), and 66,365 tonnes below the level of June 2020 (238,230 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in June 2021.
