JUNE 2024 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In June, the European chlorine production stood at 665,033 tonnes. With 22,168 tonnes, the June 2024 average daily production was 0.3% higher than in the previous month (May 2024: 22,111 tonnes) and 11.7% higher than in June 2023 (19,852 tonnes).
With 216,235 tonnes, the June 2024 caustic soda stocks were 2.1% higher than in the previous month (May 2024: 211,704 tonnes) and 9,462 tonnes above the level of June 2023 (206,773 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in June 2024.
