MARCH 2025 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
The March 2025 European chlorine production reached 655,288 tonnes. With 21,138 tonnes, the March 2025 average daily production was 13% lower than in the previous month (February 2025: 24,394 tonnes) and 5% lower than in March 2024 (22,276 tonnes).
With 208,165 tonnes, the March 2025 caustic soda stocks were 18% lower than in the previous month (February 2025: 254,802 tonnes) and 36,059 tonnes below the level of March 2024 (244,224 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK from January to March 2025.
