April 2014 Chlorine Production

Brussels, 4th June 2014 – In April, the European chlorine production reached 804,747 tonnes. 
With 26,825 tonnes, the April average daily production was 1.3% above the level of the previous month (March 2014: 26,493 tonnes), and 14.4% higher than in April 2013 (23,445 tonnes).
With 284,036 tonnes, the April caustic soda stocks were 0.3% lower than in the previous
month (March 2014: 284,989 tonnes),but 44,145 tonnes above the level of April 2013 (239,891 tonnes).

and Switzerland in April 2014 are provided in the following tables.
