April 2019 Chlorine Production

In April 2019, the European chlorine production reached 788,975 tonnes. With 26,299 tonnes, the April 2019 average daily production was 0.5% lower than in the previous month (March 2019: 26,431 tonnes), but 4.4% higher than in April 2018 (25,183 tonnes).

With 293,526 tonnes, the April 2019 caustic soda stocks were 0.02% higher than in the previous month (March 2019: 293,468 tonnes), and 33,547 tonnes above the level of April 2018 (259,979 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-28 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in April 2019.
