August 2019 chlorine production
The August European chlorine production reached 829,181 tonnes. With 26,748 tonnes, the August 2019 average daily production was 1.4% higher than in the previous month (July 2019: 26,389 tonnes), and 3.2% higher than in August 2018 (25,916 tonnes).
With 263,428 tonnes, the August 2019 caustic soda stocks were 20% higher than in the previous month (July 2019: 219,446 tonnes), and 21,795 tonnes above the level of August 2018 (241,633 tonnes).
