December 2018 Chlorine Production

With 25,504 tonnes, the December average daily production was 3.8% higher than in the previous month (November 2018: 24,568 tonnes), and 3.4% lower than in December 2017 (26,394  tonnes).

With 241,706 tonnes, the December 2018 caustic soda stocks were 21.8% higher than in the previous month (November 2018: 198,515 tonnes), and 7,457 tonnes below the level of December 2017 (249,163 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-28 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in December 2018.
