July 2020 Chlorine Production

The July 2020 European chlorine production reached 796,246 tonnes. With 25,685 tonnes, the July 2020 average daily production was 10.2% higher than in the previous month (June 2020: 23,305 tonnes), but 2.6% lower than in July 2019 (26,373 tonnes).

With 242,159 tonnes, the July 2020 caustic soda stocks were 1.6% higher than in the previous month (June 2020: 238,230 tonnes), and 23,477 tonnes above the level of July 2019 (218,682 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-28 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in July 2020.
