June 2019 Chlorine Production

In June 2019, the European chlorine production stood at 752,630 tonnes. With 25,088 tonnes, the June 2019 average daily production was 4.2% higher than in the previous month (May 2019: 24,068 tonnes), and 4.6% lower than in June 2018 (26,288 tonnes).

With 236,898 tonnes, the June 2019 caustic soda stocks were 14.4% lower than in the previous month (May 2019: 276,853 tonnes), and 19,498 tonnes below the level of June 2018 (256,396 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-28 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in June 2019.
