May 2013 Chlorine Production

At 25,926 tonnes (recovering from the effects of maintenance
outages frequently mentioned in the press) the May average daily
production was 10.6 % higher than in the previous month (April
2013: 23,445 tonnes), and 3.1 % lower than in May 2012 (26,744
tonnes).

With continuing low exports the May caustic soda stocks stood at
266,812 tonnes, i.e. 26,921 tonnes above the previous month (April
2013: 239,891 tonnes), and 3.3% below the level of May 2012
(275,935 tonnes).
