May 2018 Chlorine Production

With 26,181 tonnes, the May average daily production was 4.2% higher than in the previous month (April 2018: 25,124 tonnes), but 2.8% lower than in May 2017 (26,942 tonnes).

With 271,412 tonnes, the May 2018 caustic soda stocks were 4.4% higher than in the previous month (April 2018: 259,979 tonnes), and 81,629 tonnes above the level of May 2017 (189,783 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-28 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in May 2018.
