NOVEMBER 2023 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In November, the European chlorine production reached 600,696 tonnes. With 20,023 tonnes, the November 2023 average daily production was 6.6% higher than in the previous month (October 2023: 18,790 tonnes) and 9.2% higher than in November 2022 (18,336 tonnes).
With 211,446 tonnes, the November 2023 caustic soda stocks were 0.8% lower than in the previous month (October 2023: 213,234 tonnes) and 18,051 tonnes below the level of November 2022 (229,497 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in November 2023.
