OCTOBER 2023 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In October, the European chlorine production stood at 582,599 tonnes. With 18,794 tonnes, the October 2023 average daily production was 4.5% lower than in the previous month (September 2023: 19,673 tonnes), but 0.9% higher than in October 2022 (18,618 tonnes).
With 214,321 tonnes, the October 2023 caustic soda stocks were 17.9% lower than in the previous month (September 2023: 261,195 tonnes) and 27,830 tonnes above the level of October 2022 (186,491 tonnes).
