Safety and energy highlighted as key themes on Safety Day at AkzoNobel

Ton Manders, Euro Chlor’s Technical & Safety Director, was recently invited to present at the marketing- and sales meeting of the Chlor-Alkali unit of AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands on 19th September 2018. This was the perfect opportunity, since that day was also the AkzoNobel Safety Day with the theme of ‘Line of Fire’: Expect the unexpected!

He reinforced Euro Chlor’s absolute commitment to safety and explained what Euro Chlor is also doing in the other fields such as communication, regulatory affairs, health and especially energy. Besides safe operations, energy is currently the most dominant factor in the Chlor-Alkali world.
