Vinnolit introduces PVC with reduced CO2 footprint

Vinnolit has introduced polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a reduced CO2footprint, following the launch of caustic soda solution a reduced CO2footprint earlier this year. The respective CO2footprint for the entire product portfolio was calculated by sustainable AG in accordance with the ISO 14067 standard, with the inspection and certification carried out by TÜV Rheinland.

Parent company Westlake recently released the 2020 Sustainability Report" Essential Products, Critical Innovations", which provides details of sustainability goals and achievements and Vinnolit is also working with partners to offer "bio-attributed" PVC based on bioethylene.
