AUGUST 2022 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In August, the European chlorine production stood at 657,461 tonnes. With 21,208 tonnes, the August 2022 average daily production was 4.4% lower than in the previous month (July 2022: 22,173 tonnes), and 20.4% lower than in August 2021 (26,643 tonnes).
The August 2022 caustic soda stocks may not be shown, in compliance with the Cefic statistical rules.
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in August 2022.
