JUNE 2022 CHLORINE PRODUCTION
In June, the European chlorine production stood at 682,760 tonnes. With 22,759 tonnes, the June 2022 average daily production was 5.7% lower than in the previous month (May 2022: 24,144 tonnes), and 15.3% lower than in June 2021 (26,865 tonnes).
With 194,998 tonnes, the June 2022 caustic soda stocks were 0.3% lower than in the previous month (May 2022: 195,514 tonnes), but 20,876 tonnes above the level of June 2021 (174,122 tonnes).
The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK in June 2022.
